World Equestrian Center – Ocala Adds More Awards and Extends Additional Prize Money Through Summer VII

June 26, 2021 – OCALA, Fla. – World Equestrian Center – Ocala will be awarding additional prize money through Week VII (July 21-25) of its Summer Horse Show Series. This extension expands upon World Equestrian Center’s initial increase in prize money placed through Week IV of the series.

Prize money increases have been assigned to the following classes for weeks III through VII:

• The featured Grand Prix will continue to offer a total prize of $75,000 (increased from $50,000), with a $5,000 bonus for the fastest four-faulter in the first round
• An additional $5,000 will be awarded by a draw to a non-award earning grand prix participant that completes the first-round course
• The Futures Prix will continue to offer $10,000 each week (increased from $7,500)
• The Non-Pro Hunter Derby will continue to offer $7,500 in prize money (increased from $2,500)
• The Pony Hunter Derby will continue to offer $5,000 (increased from $2,500)
• The 1.40m Jumper Classic is now a featured class offering $15,000 in prize money (increased from $10,000)

The World Equestrian Center – Ocala 2021 NSBA-sanctioned Summer Series show schedule includes eight more weeks of competition:

• Remaining Week III - June 26-27
• Week IV - June 30-July 4
• Week V - July 7-11
• Week VI - July 14-18
• Week VII - July 21-25
• Week VIII - July 28-Aug 1
• Week IX - Aug 4-8
• Week X - Aug 11-15
