Will Simpson (USA) and Whoop De Doo, owned by Coxe Horses LLC, topped a 10-horse jump-off to take the win in the $75,000 Stella Artois Grand Prix, brought to you by Tri-Eagle Sales at World Equestrian Center – Ocala during the Winter Spectacular II show in Ocala, FL, on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Manuel Esparza (MEX) designed two technical tracks for the 39 horse-and-rider combinations entered in the class. Simpson and the 11-year-old Warmblood mare completed the first course with ease and stopped the timers at 38.795 seconds in the competitive jump-off to earn the victory.

“Everyone from my team has been working so hard, so it’s great to pull out a win today,” described Simpson. “It’s a team effort, and we share a great camaraderie at the barn. I don’t know what I would do without them. I am also super proud of Whoopy today. I think she is really starting to come into her own.”

Just after Simpson was Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA) and Artemis Equestrian Farm LLC’s Major Tom in 40.490 seconds. Pessoa also claimed third place with Artemis Equestrian Farm LLC’s Quality FZ in a time of 41.162 seconds.
