The WIHS Regional Horse Show & USHJA Zone 3 Championship will relocate to the Salem Farm show grounds, home to the Upperville Colt & Horse Show and the Loudoun Benefit Horse Show, in Upperville, VA, October 19-22, 2023.
After a three-year absence, the WIHS Regional Hunter Finals will once again be held at the Washington International Horse Show, on Monday, October 23.

After Three-Year Absence, the Regional Hunter Finals Return to WIHS

The Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Board of Directors announced today the WIHS Regional Horse Show & USHJA Zone 3 Championship, presented by TTR Sotheby’s International Realty and the Lowham-Ruzzo Family, will relocate to Upperville, VA, on October 19-22, 2023.

The popular four-day competition offers a wide range of hunter, jumper, equitation, and exciting WIHS qualifying classes. Exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, family, and friends will enjoy great sport and hospitality in a picturesque and convenient setting.

Highlights

  • WIHS Regional Hunter Finals will be held at the Washington International Horse Show, on Monday, October 23
  • Qualifier for WIHS Children's & Adult Hunter and Jumper Championships at WIHS USHJA Zone 3 Championships

  • 12th Annual Laura Pickett Excellence in Horsemanship Award. Nominations will open in September
  • Kelly Wilkinson Coffin returns for fourth year as the official WIHS Regional Horse Show artist

USHJA Zone 3 Championship
The USHJA Zone 3 Championship will be held on Sunday, October 22, with hunter, jumper, and hunter breeding (Thursday) sections. The top horses in each division, based on total USHJA points, will be invited to compete. Invitations will be sent in early October.
