The 2021 WIHS Regional Horse Show & USHJA Zone 3 Championship presented by TTR Sotheby’s International Realty kicks off at Morven Park International Equestrian Center in Leesburg, Virginia, on Thursday, October 21, and will run through October 24.
The WIHS Regional Horse Show also serves as a qualifier for the WIHS Children’s and Adult Hunter and Jumper Championships presented by MARS Equestrian™, which will be held at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina, on October 26-31, 2021.

What’s new at the 2021 WIHS Regional Horse Show:
- The Maryland Horse Shows Association (MHSA) Gittings Horsemanship Finals is back, and a new winner will be crowned on Saturday, October 23, 2021
- USHJA Zone 3 Championship for Hunter Breeding
- The Glyndon Memorial Trophy, donated by Patti and Bruce Schindler, will be presented to the WIHS Regional Grand Adult Amateur Hunter
- Thoroughbreds Welcome! MHSA Invitational Thoroughbred Hunter Classic on Thursday, October 21, 2021
- Fans and spectators are welcome with free general admission
The WIHS Regional Horse Show will continue to include the following highlights:

Kelly Wilkinson Coffin Named Official Artist of WIHS Regional Horse Show
The management team of the WIHS Regional Horse Show presented by TTR Sotheby’s International Realty has released a one-of-a-kind event poster again this year.
For the second consecutive year, Virginia native Kelly Wilkinson Coffin created the unique artwork for the WIHS Regional Horse Show. This year’s painting, “Pep Talk,” has been transformed into a poster and is also featured on the cover of the WIHS Regional Show prize list.
Coffin is a lifelong lover of horses and art, but only chose to pursue her interests professionally approximately 20 years ago following a distinguished career as a naval aviator and airline pilot. She is married to Olympic eventing gold medalist and saddle maker, Tad Coffin.
