The Vermont Summer Festival, running for six consecutive weeks from July 3 through August 12, has partnered with Manchester-area hotels, inns, and resorts to offer competitors the opportunity to experience Vermont hospitality while participating at the 25th anniversary event.

Thousands of equestrians and their connections gather in southern Vermont during the show series, and local lodging establishments welcome them with open arms. The list of lodging partners for the 2018 circuit offers something for each and every horse show enthusiast, including high-end resort experiences as well as quaint inns and cottage-style living.

Topping the list of resorts and full-service accommodations, both The Equinox Resort and Kimpton Taconic Hotel return as lodging partners, while the all-new Hampton Inn & Suites Manchester welcomes guests for its first summer season.

“The Vermont Summer Festival is a spectacular event and one of the main attractions of the season, making it a very important and much appreciated part of our summer,” said Alexandra Zullo, Director of Sales & Marketing at The Equinox Resort, which was built in 1769, making it one of the oldest hotels in the country. “We at The Equinox love being part of our community and the Vermont Summer Festival is a key and important piece of the community.

“It’s a staple in our area and that’s why we love to partner with the event,” continued Zullo. “The Equinox is the perfect place to relax and let us take care of you after a long day at the horse show.”

In addition to offering accommodations to its competitors, The Equinox Resort also supports the Vermont Summer Festival by presenting the $30,000 Battenkill Grand Prix during the second week of competition and hosting the sixth and final exhibitor party.

For a more intimate setting, the Vermont Summer Festival has also partnered with quintessential Vermont inns, including Barrows House, The Dorset Inn, and Palmer House.
