After Hong Kong and Paris, The Auction® is back and presents an exceptional collection for its "2020 Winter Sale," to be held online from December 10 through 12. This sale features a unique Winter Collection of Europe’s most emblematic bloodlines and talents, including young and experienced performers, approved stallions, a yearling, and exclusive embryos, all with remarkable origins and aptitudes.

This Winter Collection is the result of a rigorous selection process implemented out throughout the season by The Auction®. Choices were made with the aim of offering lots to the market that meet the highest standards.

Whether you are an international rider, professional or amateur, junior or young rider with international ambitions, breeder or investor, man or woman, breeder or horse dealer, the collection of the 2020 Winter Sale, the fifth edition of The Auction®, has the potential to fulfill all needs and desires.

After a difficult year, marked by a pandemic and the cancellation of most international events, it is time to prepare and build for the future and invest in an exceptional offer of outstanding sport horses and embryos now more than ever.

On the performance side, the choices are diverse. From the four-year-old mare Nina (Numero Uno x Landanel), who concluded her first season in the competition ring as the 2020 four-year-old British Champion in Bolesworth, to the confirmed KWPN 11-year-old Grand Prix level mare Eijkhof Elexia, by Calvaro Z, with many international placements to her record, including a notable 1.45m win at GCT Chantilly in 2019. Also included is the seven-year-old approved stallion Carrement J&F Champblanc, who concluded the season with a third-place podium finish at the seven-year-old Belgian Championships, and the 7-year-old grey Selle Français mare, Dagada des Grevis (Cardento x Heartbreaker), who finished seventh in the French Championships in Fontainebleau this year.

Top breeding will be showcased with lots including Montego Z, a daughter of the vice-world champion Mylord Carthago and the dam of the legendary Taloubet Z. Other lots of six and seven-year-olds include Gjamaika Song by Cristallo, eight-year-old mare Evita (Diamant x Cash) and the 10th-place finisher at the 2019 seven-year-old World Championships in Lanaken, as well as the spectacular grey gelding, Avecoli. Each young horse selected has the experience and results to take on the highest level of sport.

Others with up-and-coming potential include approved stallion Casalento PS ( Casalco x Cento), six-year-old Orchidee van Dorperheide, and Conbalto PS (Conthargos x Baloubet du Rouet), each of which hold all the talent and promise of a bright international career.

Whatever the level and the objective, all are horses ready for high-level competition, with the promise of successful careers in breeding for mares and stallions at the end of their time in the competition arena.

As far as "betting on the future", the collection of embryos is particularly precious and includes a future full sister of World Cup Final winner Tobago Z; a granddaughter or grandson of a Ratina Z clone with the handsome Emerald as the sire; an offspring from Chacco-Blue, the stallion of the year with an approved stallion's full sister, a Dominator 2000 Z, etc. Be sure to also follow bidding on the only yearling of the collection, Noemie d'Ecaussines, making her second appearance at The Auction®. During her debut, she was not yet born and was sold for €40,000 as an embryo at Act I of the Hong Kong auction.

A dream that will come true for some on December 12, when the final (but virtual) hammer falls on the platform. Discover the full Winter Collection at www.theauction.online.
