Southbound Saratoga Management Group (SSMG), led by Patrick Rodes, Adele Einhorn, and Steve Braley, announces the purchase of White Hollow Farm in Stillwater, NY, home of the Saratoga Horse Shows. SSMG has successfully held horse shows at White Hollow Farm since 2019 while leasing the property from Skidmore College, and the sale was finalized on January 17, 2025.

“It feels exciting and a little overwhelming,” said Einhorn of the purchase. “We took an enormous leap of faith, but in order to operate in the best interest of our exhibitors and the sport, we needed to do this. We were lucky to be able to buy this property so close to Saratoga Springs. It’s a win-win as we see it because Saratoga is such a great town and has so much to offer.”

While purchasing the farm was a large investment, SSMG intends to make some improvements, including renovating the historic brick house and building pavilions to replace ringside tents. Einhorn noted, “We have a laundry list of things that we want to do, but it's a matter of time and resources. We are putting together a plan to prioritize the property’s needs and things that will be considered assets for our exhibitors.”

Saratoga Horse Shows have historically been held in the Saratoga Springs area dating back to 1927. The Saratoga Classic shows were recreated by Einhorn in 1998 at the Saratoga Race Course, then moved to White Hollow Farm in 2019. Einhorn and Rodes have worked together since 2009 and formed SSMG in 2019. Together, they have expanded from a two-week format to 10 weeks of USEF-rated shows at White Hollow Farm (WHF). They also operate the popular WHF Schooling Show Series throughout the spring and summer months. Their vision is, and always has been, to provide exhibitors with the best friendly, customer service-oriented experience possible.

White Hollow Farm consists of 103 acres just minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs and features eight large arenas with state-of-the-art drainage and all-weather performance footing, permanent and tented stabling, three lunging areas, multiple-sized turnout paddocks, camper parking, and ample grassy areas to relax and graze. White Hollow Farm also offers seasonal boarding and layover stabling.

SSMG invites everyone to experience Saratoga Horse Shows and schooling series in 2025 and visit the destination hotspot that is Saratoga Springs in the summer. Mark your calendar today!
