Riders interested in competing at the Dressage V show on December 15-18, 2022, at World Equestrian Center – Ocala are reminded to send in entries soon as the closing date is December 7, 2022. Presented by Hampton Green Farm and Discover Dressage, the national-level Dressage V show will feature US Equestrian (USEF)/United States Dressage Federation-rated (USDF) classes and be a qualifying competition for the Great American/USDF Regional Championships.

If you can’t make it to WEC – Ocala to compete in December, there are 10 shows on the 2023 schedule, including three Fédération Equestre International (FEI) internationally rated CDI3* events and two CDI-W (World Cup qualifying) shows with concurrent USEF/USDF classes as well as five additional nationally rated events.

The full 2023 dressage competition schedule at WEC – Ocala is:

January 19-22, 2023 – USEF/USDF competition
February 23-26, 2023 – USEF/USDF competition
March 9-12, 2023 – USEF/USDF competition
April 13-16, 2023 – CDI3* and USEF/USDF competition
May 25-28, 2023 – CDI3* and USEF/USDF competition
August 24-27, 2023 – USEF/USDF competition
September 14-17, 2023 – CDI3* and USEF/USDF competition
October 19-22, 2023 – USEF/USDF competition
November 16-19, 2023 – CDI-W and USEF/USDF competition (Pending USEF and FEI approval)
December 7-10, 2023 – CDI-W and USEF/USDF competition (Pending USEF and FEI approval)

All of the USEF/USDF shows are qualifying competitions for the Great American/USDF Regional Championships.

The veterinarians are well versed in the demands of each individual horse sport and offer a range of treatments to ensure your horse performs at its best. They offer ACVSMR performance evaluations for lameness, purchase, neurologic, respiratory, poor performance as well as additional categories, including Soloshot videography, gastrointestinal tract examinations and telemetric electrocardiography.

In addition to sports medicine, they offer a variety of rehabilitation treatments and programs, as well as state-of-the art equine diagnostic imaging by board-certified veterinary radiologists.

Rehabilitation therapy is used for a variety of conditions and to improve overall fitness and wellness in horses. Programs can be tailored with you and your veterinarian to help get your horse back into the ring faster and stronger, minimizing the risk of injury. Many of the treatments can be used either in-hospital or at your horse’s stall.

Key rehabilitation modalities at their fingertips are halotherapy – also known as dry salt therapy – hydrotherapy, vibration therapy (Theraplate) and solarium therapy.
