The Manchester Designer Outlets (MDO) will continue its support of the 25th anniversary Vermont Summer Festival by sponsoring the $10,000 Open Welcome Stake each Thursday throughout the six-week circuit, running from July 3 through August 12, 2018, at Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset, VT.

The upcoming season marks the 13th year that MDO has participated in the Vermont Summer Festival as a valued partner and sponsor. A popular choice for entertainment among competitors for many years, MDO is located minutes from the Vermont Summer Festival showgrounds and is its own village of outlet stores from designer label fashions for both men and women. MDO brands include Armani, Brooks Brothers, Eileen Fisher, J. Crew Factory, G.H. Bass & Co., Le Creuset, New Balance Factory Store, Theory, TSE, and Vineyard Vines.

MDO retail brands are featured as title sponsors of the weekly $10,000 Open Welcome Stake classes, held each Thursday of the Vermont Summer Festival.

The $10,000 Open Welcome Stake schedule is as follows:
$10,000 Open Welcome Stake, presented by MDO – July 5, 2018

In addition to their share of the $10,000 purse and winner’s honors, the top-placing competitor in each Open Welcome Stake will be presented with a $1,000 gift card from that week's sponsoring brand.

“The Manchester area is a unique place that rallies around its events and we have received so much support from the Manchester Designer Outlets over the years,” said John Ammerman, manager of the Vermont Summer Festival. “Having the Manchester Designer Outlets so close to the Vermont Summer Festival is an added benefit for our riders, and we are very proud to also have them as official supporters of the show itself. Their prizes are generous and we really could not pull off this event without the support of partners like them.”

In addition to the latest fashion trends with savings of up to 70 percent, MDO also offers unbeatable deals on luxury home furnishings, gifts and stylish accessories. The combination of culture and style, while showcasing the best of Manchester, makes for an enjoyable and relaxing shopping experience.
