KASK Helmets and Parlanti USA Sponsor Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association

KASK Helmets and Parlanti USA have signed on with the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) as official sponsors through the 2018 season, as well as two of the newest supporters of the 2016 IHSA National Championship taking place May 5-8 in the Alltech Arena of Lexington's Kentucky Horse Park.

“We're very proud to have their support,” said IHSA vice president and U.S. Military Academy (West Point) equestrian team coach, Peter Cashman. “These are terrific products that will make our college riders who qualify for Nationals feel like the champions they are.”

Both KASK and Parlanti recently established North American Headquarters in Wellington, FL, with a specific dedication to supporting up-and-coming riders and young professionals in horse sport. In addition to creating sponsorship relationships with individual riders, KASK and Parlanti will now support the more than 9,000 intercollegiate riders competing across the U.S.

Thanks to participation from KASK and Parlanti, the sponsorship will award more than 100 KASK Helmets among Regional Champion High Point USEF Cacchione Cup riders, USHJA/IHSA Sportsmanship Award recipients, Zone Champions, and IHSA National Finalists. Parlanti tall boots will be awarded at the IHSA National Finals – one for each class – as well as one pair for the USEF Cacchione Cup champion and a pair for the High Score USEF Cacchione Cup Over Fences champion, plus half-chaps for each Zone Champion. Also, nearly 100 additional items from the KASK and Parlanti product lines will be awarded at IHSA Zone Championships.

“It is a goal of both KASK and Parlanti to help grow equestrian sport from a grassroots level and we feel there is no better way to accomplish that than to support the riders of the IHSA,” said Gianluca Caron, North American Brand Manager for both KASK and Parlanti USA. “We are very proud to be involved in IHSA shows from qualifying events to the National Finals, but we are most excited about encouraging the professional riders and trainers of the future.”

IHSA provides collegiate riders of all skills the opportunity to compete individually and as teams in equestrian competition, and is currently made up of 412 teams nationwide. It was founded on the principle that any college student should be able to participate in horse shows regardless of his or her riding ability or financial status.
