Jump Media Celebrates Successful First Year

December 23, 2016 - Wellington, Florida

Jump Media, a leading public relations agency specializing in equestrian sport, has experienced an extremely successful 2016 season in its first full year of business.

Headed by industry experts Jennifer Ward and Jennifer Wood, Jump Media was launched to fulfill an ever-increasing need for quality public relations services in a rapidly expanding industry.  In 2016, Jump Media represented some of the most prominent organizations, services and tournaments within the sport as it worked to embody its tagline, ‘Raising the Bar in Equestrian PR’.

Providing media and public relations for high-profile events is a cornerstone of Jump Media’s services.  In 2016, Jump Media handled lead-up, on-site services and post-event coverage for such prestigious events as the CSI3* Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows (New York), the six-week Vermont Summer Festival (Vermont), the boutique, not-for-profit Chicago Hunter Derby (Illinois), Capital Challenge Horse Show (Maryland), and the CSI-W Washington International Horse Show (D.C.).

North of the border in Canada, Jump Media worked to promote all weeks of FEI competition at Spruce Meadows (Alberta), the CSI2* Ottawa International Horse Show (Ontario), and the incomparable CSI-W Royal Horse Show, held as part of the 94th Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto (Ontario).

With a wide range of capabilities to promote services within the equestrian industry, Jump Media collaborates with leading veterinary facility, Palm Beach Equine Clinic of Wellington, FL; Equis Boutique, purveyor of luxury European labels and apparel; and Leone Equestrian Law, specializing in horse-related legal issues.

Parlanti riding boots and KASK helmets both engaged Jump Media to promote their products to the North American market while the inaugural Equine World Stem Cell Summit was a fantastic event that met with rave reviews in its first year.  The SSG Gloves ‘Go Clean for the Green’ promotion once again proved extremely popular with competitors at the 2016 Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL.

Up-and-coming Canadian talent Julia Tops, daughter of Longines Global Champions Tour founder Jan Tops and Canadian Show Jumping Team veteran Tani Zeidler; leading international show jumping stable G&C Farm Europe, based in Spain; and Canterbury Farm of Illinois have all entrusted Jump Media with their promotion and social media.

“The launch of Jump Media was met with overwhelming support from the equestrian community and, as a result, the business grew beyond even our own expectations in its first year,” said Jennifer Ward.  “We appreciate working with so many well-respected leaders in our sport, and thank them for trusting us to professionally represent and promote each of their unique brands.”

Led by Jump Media principals Ward and Wood, the full-time staff is augmented by Lindsay Brock, Lauren Fisher and Emily Riden.  Three talented professionals, Brock, Fisher and Riden share a myriad of experience in the communications and public relations sectors and bring a wealth of experience to Jump Media client campaigns.  The Jump Media team is further supported by contracted professionals in the areas of photography, graphic design and web services.

“Our public relations packages are comprehensive, and are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client,” said Jennifer Wood.  “Given our position within the industry, we are also uniquely positioned to capitalize on a broad range of contacts, which is recognized and appreciated by our clients.  We look forward to future growth as we expand to meet the equally growing need for quality public relations services.”
