July Prize Lists Available for the 2023 Saratoga Horse Shows

The Saratoga Summer Celebration prize list is available.
The Saratoga WIB Spectacular is returning for a second year on June 12-16, 2023.

The Saratoga Women in Business (WIB) Spectacular and Saratoga Summer Celebration prize lists for the 25th anniversary of the Saratoga Horse Shows held at White Hollow Farm in Stillwater, NY, are available online at saratogahorseshows.com. The Saratoga WIB Spectacular show will take place July 12-16, 2023, and the Saratoga Summer Celebration will be held July 20-23, 2023.

Entries are open for the Saratoga WIB Spectacular and the Saratoga Summer Celebration and can be submitted online through horseshowsonline.com. Entry blanks to be mailed in are available at saratogahorseshows.com. Entries for both shows close on June 23, 2023. In addition, a limited number of stalls are still available for the Saratoga Classic II show taking place June 21-25, 2023.

The second annual Saratoga WIB Spectacular will feature World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) competition. This exciting week of competition is the first show ever created by women, operated by women, benefitting women’s health, and showcasing WIB. Exhibitors will have learning experiences where they can meet, listen, and interact with equestrian women in many different types of businesses as they discuss their career paths and experiences. The show will also include a job fair, a bustling Vendor Village, as well as WIB meet-and-greet opportunities.

Participate in the Saratoga WIB Spectacular

In addition to the variety of special learning experiences at the Saratoga WIB Spectacular, both weeks feature several competition highlights. During the Saratoga WIB Spectacular, competitors can look forward to the $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby, and the $25,000 Grand Prix. The Saratoga Summer Celebration Show will feature a $2,500 National Hunter Derby as well as a $10,000 All In One Jumper Classic. Junior, amateur, and pony riders can enjoy featured hunter, jumper, and equitation classes during both weeks of competition.

Saratoga Horse Shows 25th Anniversary Celebrations
The 25th anniversary celebrations will begin during the Saratoga Classic I, which is a WCHR week, starting June 14, 2023. Festivities include exhibitor parties on Saturday, June 17, and Friday June 23, 2023, with live music, food, and drinks. Saratoga Horse Shows will also bring back the Historic Fun and Games on Horseback including a Musical Chairs Contest, an Egg and Spoon Contest, and a “Sit-a-Buck” competition.

During the Saratoga Classic I, up to 40 exhibitors can enter to receive $25 and a $25 "buck" to compete in the "Sit-a-Buck" class. The winner of each class will receive $2,500 in honor of the 25th anniversary. The “Sit-a-Buck” competition is generously sponsored by Postage Stamp Farm Foundation.
