Horse & Country (H&C), the leading international sports network for the active and passionate equestrian community, announced details for a roundup show featuring national show jumping, hunter, and equitation action from the main ring of the Turf Tour, in Wellington, FL, on its streaming service, H&C+. Titled Turf Tour Today, the program will air at 7:30 p.m. EST* each day of competition and will be available on demand for H&C+ members.

Designed as a platform for training and learning as well as honing competitive skill, the Turf Tour is a 13-week multi-venue show series and a unique addition to Wellington’s expansive winter season. The Tour offers riders top-tier competition, more than $400,000 in prize money, and a welcoming atmosphere at different weekly venues around Wellington with amazing grass or sand footing. The show-and go, open-ended schedule provides convenience and a competitive environment while still retaining the challenge and competitor roster of major national shows. International riders including Olympians Daniel Bluman, Ashlee Bond, Kent Farrington, and Leslie Howard are expected to compete.

The first edition of Turf Tour Today is scheduled for Tuesday, February 1, and will feature equitation and hunter classes from The Ridge Farm. Next up, H&C+ members can tune in to show jumping action from The Ridge Farm on Wednesday, February 2, and Friday, February 4. Continuing through April 5, further coverage will include shows from The Ridge Farm, Polo West, and the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, including two Hunter Derby Days on February 12-13 and March 12-13.

H&C’s Director of Content Jonathan Rippon commented, “We are delighted to bring this innovative event to our growing membership in the U.S. Turf Tour Today is the ideal format to present ‘show when you like’ competitions as close to live as possible.”

“The Turf Tour is an important addition to the Florida circuit and having it available to viewers on Horse & Country will be amazing,” said Olympian and Turf Tour organizer Nona Garson. “It provides a foundational show for horses and riders of all levels to enjoy jumping on natural grass surfaces and is instrumental in the development of young horses. The scenic event sites, complimentary hospitality, and generous prize money are additional incentives for our exhibitors. We love bringing our horse show to more audiences and, through this partnership with H&C, we look forward to highlighting some of the best riders competing at some of the most beautiful venues in Wellington!”

In addition to the coverage on Turf Tour Today, competitors will also be able to purchase clips of their rounds at horseandcountry.tv, helping them evaluate performance and gain maximum benefit from the Turf Tour experience.
