Entries Now Open for World Equestrian Center – Wilmington 2023 Fall Classic Series

Entries and stall reservations are now open for World Equestrian Center – Wilmington 2023 Fall Classic Series featuring five weeks of United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) rated hunter/jumper competition beginning September 27 through October 29. All five weeks will include USEF Premier Hunter competition with Level 4 Jumpers for Week I and II, and Level 5 Jumpers for Week III, IV and V. The 2023 WEC – Wilmington Fall Classic Series will include two $75,000 grands prix and more than $1 million in prizes and prize money.

Come show in WEC – Wilmington’s spacious, climate-controlled indoor arenas, overflowing with fall décor, where inviting courses will welcome competitors to indoor showing at its finest. Exhibitors will find classes for every level and exciting feature hunter/jumper action each week, Thursday–Sunday.

New for 2023, Fall Classic IV will feature a $1,500 Hunt Team class to be held in the R+L Arena. Fall Classic V will host a $2,500 Gambler’s Choice .90-1.0m and a $3,500 Gambler’s Choice 1.10-1.15m. A costume contest will be held during Fall Classic V with a $250 prize for the Champion and a $150 prize for the Reserve Champion.

Points from Fall Classic Series shows will be cumulative and count toward circuit championships to be awarded at the end of the series and the WEC Medal Finals, which will take place at Midwest Indoors II on November 15-19, 2023.

  • October 4 – October 8  Fall Classic II USEF Premier/Level 4 Jumper
  • October 11 – October 15 Fall Classic III USEF Premier/Level 5 Jumper
  • October 18 – October 22 Fall Classic IV USEF Premier/Level 5 Jumper
  • October 25 – October 29 Fall Classic V USEF Premier/Level 5 Jumper

Reserve Your Onsite Lodging at World Equestrian Center – Wilmington
Guests are advised to make lodging reservations at their earliest convenience to ensure they secure accommodations close to the show grounds. Reservations can be made at WEC.net or by calling 937-382-0985 ext. 3.

  • The Wilbur Estate – The Wilbur Estate is a stunning plantation-style mansion with five elegant luxury suites. Wilbur’s Estate is centrally located on the horse show grounds, just steps from arenas, stabling, and the Paddock Club. Free WiFi and VIP parking are included in your stay at Wilbur Estate.
  • Cabins – Each of the cabins sleeps up to 6 guests and is within walking distance from the arenas and barns. Two of the cabins are handicap accessible. Free WiFi included.
  • Home Away from Home Park – Directly across the street from the horse show entrance, the 130 home away from home units have two or three bedrooms with a fully equipped kitchen and living and dining room area. Free WiFi included.
  • Camping Sites – The property has many camping sites equipped with electric, water, and sewer for $225 per week (or any portion thereof), you must reserve these on your entry form or stall reservation form. Please check in at the horse show office for a pass prior to parking your RV.
