Aaron Vale and Major Prove Invincible in $75,000 CaptiveOne Advisors Grand Prix at World Equestrian Center – Ocala

An international list of 43 competitors took on the $75,000 CaptiveOne Advisors Grand Prix on Saturday, July 10, during week five of the World Equestrian Center – Ocala Summer Series. Of the six pairs that advanced to the jump-off, Aaron Vale (USA) and Major, a 14-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Don Stewart and Sleepy P Ranch LLC, sped to the fastest time, taking the win.

An additional $5,000 was awarded to Callen Solem and Essenar Crixus, who jumped the fastest four-fault round of Saturday night’s $75,000 CaptiveOne Advisors Grand Prix, in 78.660 seconds. The non-award winning entry that received the Luck of the Draw $5,000 prize was Holly Shepherd and CHS Krooze.

Carlee McCutcheon and MTM Unexpected Win $10,000 WEC 1.35m Futures Prix

Saturday afternoon’s $10,000 WEC 1.35m Futures Prix welcomed 32 entries to the WEC Grand Arena, with 12 jumping double-clear and advancing to the jump-off. Carlee McCutcheon and her own MTM Unexpected, a 10-year-old Warmblood gelding, took the win by just two-tenths of a second. The top four finishers were all within six-tenths of a second off McCutcheon's winning time.
