2024 World Equestrian Center – Ocala Summer Series Highlights South Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Championship in Week II

The 2024 World Equestrian Center – Ocala (WEC) Summer Series has an exciting addition to the Week II schedule, running from June 19-23. The South Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Championship is coming to WEC – Ocala and will feature three hunter derbies: open, junior and amateur, each boasting $12,500 in prize money. Set in the prestigious WEC Stadium, this regional championship provides hunter riders with a prime opportunity to compete in a grand setting ahead of the Platinum Performance/USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship and USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championships in August.

•     $10,000 USHJA National 3’ Open Hunter Derby
•     $10,000 USHJA National 3’ Jr/Am Hunter Derby
•     $12,500 WEC Ocala 3’6”-3’9” Hunter Derby

Friday, June 21

•     $12,500 South Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Championship 3’ Open
•     $12,500 South Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Championship 3’ Junior
•     $12,500 South Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Championship 3’ Amateur

The South Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Championship follows the same two-round format as the regular National Hunter Derby classes, and no qualifications are necessary. A minimum of the top 20 highest-scoring hunter combinations after the first round will be eligible to return for the handy portion.
