Dominguez and Betzler Close Out 2026 Saratoga Women In Business Spectacular in Grand Style

The final day of the the Saratoga Women In Business (WIB) Spectacular wrapped up on Sunday, July 12, 2026, with multiple grand hunter championships awarded. The Saratoga WIB Spectacular hosts a week full of exciting events and stellar competition, including World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) qualifying opportunities, the USHJA Green Incentive Regional Championship, a “Supporting Women In Business” vendor market and party, kids hobby horse egg and spoon races, a Saturday breakfast, Sunday Wellness Hour, and educational opportunities.

The Saratoga WIB Spectacular, held at White Hollow Farm in Stillwater, NY, is the first-ever horse show created by women, operated by women, benefitting women’s health, and showcasing businesswomen throughout the equestrian industry and beyond.

Rindy Dominguez swept the Amateur-Owner 3’3” Hunter division with her father/son duo Frosted and Chilled. With two firsts, a second, and sixth-place ribbon over fences and the win under saddle, Frosted captured the Grand Amateur-Owner 3’3” Hunter Championship.

While Frosted, a 12-year-old Holsteiner stallion by Connor, and Chilled, an eight-year-old Westphalian gelding, look and move similarly, their ride is not the same for Dominguez.

“They have beautiful jumps, and they're beautiful to ride, but are both a little bit different. ‘Chill’ is very laid back; his name fits him perfectly. ‘Frosty's’ very careful and has a big, explosive jump. They're very similar in their ability, but their approach is a little different. However, they are equally amazing horses, and I feel very privileged to have both of them.”

Dominguez, who is from Barrington, RI, has had horses in her life since she was a child riding in local competitions with her mother and sister. After a 10-year break from riding when she had children, she returned to the sport she loves seven years ago.

Transitioning back to having horses in her life was a return to normal. “It's actually harder for me not to be riding than to be riding and showing because this is a big part of my friend group, my exercise, and just my whole way of life. My kids are getting old enough now – I have a couple in college and one in high school – so I circled back, and I’m not feeling guilty about the time it takes. That's a new feeling.”

“It took a while to get the rust off, but we seem to be there now,” said Dominguez, who trains with Jennifer Hannan at Ocean Echo. “Jenny's been an amazing part of it. It feels great to be a part of her incredible team.”

Betzler and Quality Street Stroll to Grand Championship

Bevin Betzler and Quality Street, owned by Megghan Watts, garnered the Grand Low Children’s/Adult Hunter Championship after a leading tricolor performance in the Low Children’s Hunter division. They picked up first, first, and second over fences and added another second place in the under saddle.

Betzler, a 16-year-old rider from Mendham Township, NJ, has been riding Quality Street since October of 2025, and it was a perfect match from the start. Trainer Courtney Brennan paired the two together.

“She’s the best thing ever,” said Bevin of the 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse mare by O.B.O.S. Quality 004. “She’s very confident and not afraid of anything. She’s an overachiever and loves her job.”

Betzler and Brennan review her rounds before entering the ring about how each line will ride, what reactions there could be, and on what lead Quality Street usually lands.

“We talk about the strategy of what to do if something does happen and how to not make it noticeable to the judge and help her so that we are working together,” she explained.

Betzler started riding after a ride on her aunt’s Shetland pony, and it progressed from there. She moved up to the “A” show level last year, and this is her second time competing at Saratoga Horse Shows. This was Betzler’s first grand championship.

“It's a very nice venue and very pretty here,” she described. “I feel like it’s a very comfortable show to come to. There isn’t a lot of pressure, and it’s low-key but very competitive. I like that. It feels amazing to win here.”

Olivia Thompson rode Alis Volat Propriss PF, owned by Lotus Show Stables, to the Grand Children’s Hunter Championship.

Arnaby Bo Devine, ridden and owned by Emily van Etten, won the Grand Pony Hunter Championship.

The Grand Junior Hunter Championship was awarded to Unlimited, ridden and owned by Grier van Rooyen, who was also named Best Junior Rider on a Horse.

The Grand Amateur-Owner 3’6” Champion was Virtue, ridden and owned by Melissa Jacobs.

Marni Bogdanoff, riding Scamander, was named Best Junior Rider on a Pony.
