Connaway & Associates Equine Insurance Sponsors Team Spirit Award at 2025 FEI North American Youth Championships

Connaway & Associates Equine Insurance Services, Inc. is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Team Spirit Award at the 2025 FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC), to be held July 29 to August 3, 2025, in Traverse City, MI. This marks the second consecutive year that Connaway & Associates will sponsor the award at NAYC, which recognizes and rewards outstanding sportsmanship, camaraderie, and team unity among the continent’s top youth jumping and dressage equestrian athletes.

The Connaway & Associates Team Spirit Award will celebrate the team that best exemplifies the values of mutual support, sportsmanship, horsemanship, a positive attitude, and an exceptional team culture, both inside and outside the competition ring.
“At Connaway & Associates, we believe great partnerships are the foundation of success — in and out of the saddle,” said Laura Connaway of Connaway & Associates, who is herself an accomplished amateur grand prix jumping rider and sport horse breeder. “This award is a way to honor not just competitive excellence, but the teamwork, encouragement, and character that embody equestrian sport. Camaraderie is the backbone of a successful team, and it’s meaningful to support these up-and-coming young riders.”

The NAYC, which operates under FEI rules, is the premier competition for young riders in North America, showcasing the best youth talent in dressage and jumping. It gives participants the opportunity to compete against their peers in a format similar to the Olympic Games and other international senior championships. The new Team Spirit Award will be voted on by competition officials, stewards, and coaches throughout the week and will be presented during the closing ceremonies.

In addition to the Team Spirit Award, Connaway & Associates will also be recognized in the NAYC Golf Cart Parade, one of the most anticipated and celebrated parts of the event, where competitors dress up to represent their zones and regions and get to know other athletes from across the continent.

In 2024, the Award’s inaugural year, the team spirit awards were presented to the dressage junior team of Region 4/5/7 and the jumping junior team of Zone 2, both of which demonstrated outstanding team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

The renewal of support for the FEI North American Youth Championships in 2025 continues Connaway & Associates’ longstanding commitment to equestrian sport, including sponsorship of the High Point North American-Bred Horse Award at the Capital Challenge Horse Show.
